INTECH Announces Five Current Employees Promoted to Associate Principal

[Philadelphia, Pa.] – General contracting and construction management firm INTECH Construction announced five current employees who have been promoted to Associate Principal: Project Director Zach Baron, Superintendent Brian Conway, Pre-Construction Director Dave Hofmann, Project Director Darrin Reazor, and Director of Pre-Construction Services Brad Ryals. All five will maintain their existing titles in addition to the Associate Principal title, which became effective January 1, 2023.

“The new promotions come from within and emphasize INTECH’s continuing growth and strategic leadership development,” said INTECH President Phil Moses. “All five have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to INTECH, to its shared values of safety, excellence, diversity, community, and sustainability, and to the ongoing evolution of INTECH as a construction leader. We look forward to their continued impact on the organization.”

Zach Baron joined INTECH in 2006 as part of the LOOP Program for recent college graduates. He holds a B.A. in Architecture from Lehigh University. Over 17 years at INTECH, Baron has led challenging projects including the National Museum of American Jewish History and the University of Pennsylvania New College Houses East and West.

“To be rewarded for commitment and passion means a lot to me,” Baron said. “I love the people I work with and teams I’ve been involved with. It’s because of the great people at INTECH and their effort working with me that has gotten me where I am. I look forward to helping grow the business and carry it forward for the next generation.”

Brian Conway joined INTECH in 1993 as a carpenter after earning an associate degree through the Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Committee program. Over nearly 30 years with INTECH, the past recipient of the GBCA Rising Contractor’s Award and Green Advantage® certified superintendent has brought a high level of dedication to craft to his role in the field. He has overseen significant projects including 3675 Market in Philadelphia and SORA West in Conshohocken.

“I’m the first of any field personnel to come into a senior leadership role at INTECH,” Conway said. “I look forward to bringing my field experience to help in decision-making and to being a role model to others in the company and the industry.”

Dave Hofmann joined INTECH in 2013 as a Senior Estimator. He holds a B.S. in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology from Temple University and 25 years of industry experience. Dave’s leadership during the early stages of a project ensures a seamless transition into construction. He has led pre-construction for projects including 5th & Spring Garden and Arthaus in Philadelphia.

“I’ve taken a lot of pride building the pre-construction team, mentoring, training, and making it the best it can be,” said Hofmann. “It means a lot to have an ownership opportunity, and for our younger staff members, they can see that working hard can help them get to the same level. We want to keep young talent here and continue to grow and build from within.”

Darrin Reazor, PE, joined INTECH in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and 35 years of industry experience. In 16 years with INTECH, he has lent his background in engineering and dedication to quality to such projects as 3737 Chestnut in Philadelphia and Jackson Square in Jersey City, N.J.

“I’m very happy to be part of an organization that values excellence and rewards hard work and commitment,” said Reazor. “I’m excited to further advance INTECH’s goals and business.”

Brad Ryals joined INTECH in 2008 after working for the company part-time while earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. Over the last 14 years, he has contributed to the pre-construction department as an estimator and leader, earning a promotion to Director of Pre-Construction Services in 2022. Ryals has contributed to pre-construction for projects including SORA West in Conshohocken and 3151 Market in Philadelphia.

“I’m honored to join an amazing group of individuals as one of the new Associate Principals, and I look forward to contributing at a more strategic level,” said Ryals. “I anticipate fruitful collaboration with my colleagues as we carry the values of INTECH into the next generation.”
