Drexel University’s new NorthSide Dining Terrace anchors the corner of a planned pedestrian Mall along Race Street and provides a much needed food service venue to the residential core of the campus. The building houses three separate food vendors and a shared dining area which connects to the newly renovated retail market.

The project was delivered under a Design/Build contract format in conjunction with Erdy McHenry Architecture, and in close cooperation with the individual design teams of each of the food vendors. Featuring exposed architectural concrete and floor-to-ceiling glazing, the building is an important social interaction point in what is fast becoming a focal point of the campus.
