The 70,000-square-foot office renovation for EwingCole is on the sixth floor of the Federal Reserve Bank in Old City. INTECH and EwingCole have enjoyed a fruitful collaborative relationship for many years and this was an exciting opportunity to realize their goals for their workspace. To keep EwingCole’s team working in their offices during construction, we coordinated closely with their office staff, furniture, IT, and AV vendors on how to move fluidly throughout their space without disrupting their daily activities. Work was scheduled in two phases and organized by splitting the space into north and south sections. Phase one turnover is scheduled for early September and completion is by mid-February of 2025. The new space incorporates upgraded finishes and major changes to lighting controls, the server room, and emergency system infrastructure. Improvements to the existing open office layout transform the space into a more collaborative area for the design teams. Refurbished terrazzo flooring, new furnishings, new carpet, paint, lighting, ceilings, and millwork set the backdrop for a new tech café where EwingCole’s employees relax, collaborate, and unwind.
