FedEx Distribution Center

Federal Express City Station is a pre-engineered steel building constructed on a former brownfield site. To save costs and lessen environmental impact, INTECH recycled available concrete on-site and used it as sub-base material.

The site consisted of an import of approximately 65,000 CY of fill. The sitework and project construction were challenged due to unknown existing site conditions, including numerous underground obstructions and environmental issues. INTECH delivered the project using a design-build methodology, utilizing our expertise in sitework and building construction to minimize the cost impact while maintaining the schedule.
