Jefferson Health Abington Hospital Cooling Tower Replacement

Project Description

INTECH partnered with Jefferson Health for the replacement of cooling towers at Abington Hospital, Toll Pavilion. The team coordinated the removal and installation of the cooling tower system on the Abington Hospital rooftop, while keeping the hospital’s chilled-water system online 24/7. To keep the cooling system operational, the team split the project into two phases, replacing two cooling towers in each phase. Substantial electrical system upgrades were included in the scope to accommodate the infrastructure and ensure long-term operational reliability. The project team delivered the project on time, a priority for Jefferson Health given their narrow pre-cooling season window.
