Size: 72,000 SF
Client: Middletown Municipal Complex Urban Renewal, LLC
Architect: MK Architects
Completion: April 2022

A re-development of the existing Middletown Municipal Complex in Middletown, NJ, the project scope includes demolition of existing municipal buildings, construction of a new 72,000 SF 3-story structure, parking lots, and two new retail pad sites. The new complex replaces outdated buildings that have fallen behind on technology and accessibility standards, and that the township has since outgrown. Constructed of a steel frame with masonry fa├žade, the project will be phased to allow for continued occupancy of the existing Town Hall while construction of the new building is completed.

The new municipal building will accommodate the Township Administration, Tax Collector, Building Code and Planning, Office of Emergency Management, Police, and Court.
