Penn Therapy & Fitness University City

Penn Therapy & Fitness University City occupies one and a half floors of 3737 Science Center which is located on the North West corner on 38th and Market Streets in Philadelphia. The project required a fast track approach to ensure the tenant space was completed with the core and shell construction in order to meet Penn Therapy & Fitness University City’s anticipated occupancy date. The first level of the building provides a covered area for patient drop off with a dedicated lobby. The new facility houses an outpatient physical therapy practice with a gym and a small pool. The exam spaces and gym are located on the second floor with administrative spaces, therapist work areas, and the pool on the third floor. The space was designed to maximize the quality of the patient experience with a focus on privacy. The idea was to create a destination medicine site with friendly waiting spaces, comfort amenities, accessible parking, and accommodations for family members.
