Client: The Philadelphia Cricket Club
Architect: Ewing Cole

Founded in 1854, The Philadelphia Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in the country dedicated to playing recreational games. INTECH recently renovated the club’s existing clubhouse, providing new finishes as well as new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and infrastructure. The existing banquet kitchen and private dining area were both renovated in a manner which kept many original characteristics, but also expanded the areas into a more open floor plan. The top floor was converted from attic storage into conference rooms, visible from the bar at the floor below through a new skylight.

Along with other site repairs, renovations also include the club’s first set of Padel Courts to accommodate a rapidly expanding sport similar to pickleball and paddle tennis, as well as three new Paddle Tennis Courts, for a total of seven courts once the renovation is complete.
