Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History
Project Description
This contemporary museum is located on America’s Most Historic Square Mile, home to the National Constitution Center, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell Pavilion in Old City. The landmark building houses the museum’s exhibitions and programs, and serves a diverse audience of more than 250,000 visitors each year. INTECH provided complex preconstruction services for more than a year while concurrently demolishing the former KYW/CBS3 studios on the site. Located at one of the most pedestrian- and traffic-heavy intersections in Philadelphia, this project required intense safety coordination, including maintaining an operational SEPTA entrance.
