Working in an occupied office building, the amenity conference area required a complete gut of the existing sixth-floor space. Finishes were stripped and upgraded in the common corridors and elevator lobby. Complete demolition of an existing space in the basement made way for a new fitness center with locker rooms and access to a fresh-air pickleball court, a previously underutilized below-grade outdoor seating area for the building. Slate pavers were removed to facilitate a new level playing surface and the exterior building walls were refreshed with a new custom mural.

The majority of the ceilings were exposed decks and care was taken to address acoustics. The conference center used K13 cellulose spray insulation to help absorb sound, and the remaining areas were adorned with felt baffle ceilings and pendant lighting to help achieve a functional and polished appearance. Custom lacquer paneling with decorative casings accent the space and fabric and metal mesh draperies provide privacy and additional sound absorption. The fitness center incorporates a custom wood slat wall, graphic wallcoverings, and light shelves, and looks out over the new pickleball court. Tiled locker rooms provide an added amenity for building occupants.
