The twelve-week project adds to INTECH’s robust portfolio of work in the historically significant Curtis Building on Washington Square. The corporate office fit-out for branding firm Calcium Nutrition involved demolition of a central set of stairs and the construction of two new staircases to improve tenant flow. The new stairs connect the upper level to the lower level with a new railing system that does not obstruct views of the open floor plan. The project also involved the complete overhaul of HVAC and electrical systems and high ceiling decks. Perimeter rooms were built with joisted ceilings to maintain sightlines above the rooms. The move takes advantage of natural light from the existing high windows.
