Client: University of Pennsylvania
Architect: MGA Partners, Architects

This unique project involved major abatement and demolition, as well as construction of new offices and support services for the Facilities and Real Estate Department of the University of Pennsylvania.

The “Track Level” project was an aggressive, fast-track, high-end finish project, that was completed within eight months – compressed from an original nine-month schedule – without additional costs to the Owner. A detailed phased occupancy was accomplished, and included moving the Main Computer Center to the University’s “24/7/365” operation without interruption.

INTECH generated a thorough Value Engineering package and was successful in saving the University several hundred thousand dollars while maintaining the original design intent. Close coordination with public agencies, including PennDOT and PECO, was necessary to meet the aggressive schedule.

“I believe your team represented Penn’s interests exceptionally well. The attention to detail, schedule and costs certainly helped make this project a success. To be able to bring this complex project to completion on time and within budget speaks well of your entire organization.”
