The recently re-branded Sonesta Hotel Philadelphia located at 18th and Market Streets in Center City underwent a major renovation, including complete upgrades to all 435 guest rooms as well as complete transformations to public spaces.

The new lobby includes an art-themed bar and lounge area, centered around a striking art gallery. Passersby are welcomed to a new café at street level, and newly finished ballrooms and meeting spaces hold fresh energy for events of all types and sizes. High-end finishes and eye catching design abound throughout.

The corner of 18th and Market Streets was illuminated with a new canopy and entrances befitting this busy intersection, and complementary to the new life behind its doors.

For overnight guests, accommodations are completely refreshed. As a welcome retreat from travel and the urban energy surrounding the hotel, the rooms emphasize design throughout the building, with a nod to its location in the heart of Philadelphia’s central district. Guests find the new finishes and amenities to be well-coordinated and assembled with care. From top to bottom, Sonesta created a new vision of hospitality in Center City.

“Throughout the course of the project, INTECH demonstrated a commitment to meeting schedules and were professional in all interactions, while being eager to address and serve hotel ownership’s needs and requests. Equally important was their understanding that throughout the project we were an operating hotel – they made every effort working with hotel operations to ensure that our guests were not disturbed. I highly recommend INTECH for any construction and/or renovation project.“
