1601 Market Street – Retail Expansion and Façade Renovation

INTECH provided pre-construction and construction services for the façade renovation and retail expansion at 1601 Market Street. The project enlarged the building footprint and included installation of a new curtainwall system on the first and second levels of the building. Exploratory demolition and extensive coordination with the design team during the pre-construction phase helped to moderate the effects of unknown conditions during the project. INTECH’s extensive experience with congested urban sites and challenging site logistics situations was essential to ensuring a smooth completion of the project, since the building is closely interconnected to the urban infrastructure both above and below grade.
