3939 Chestnut Street was a Design/Build project that included demolition of the existing structures on site and construction of a new 7-story building. This mixed-used development consists of two levels of retail and five levels of residences. The 65 residential units are a combination of studios and one-bedroom apartments.
The building was constructed of a steel and slab on metal deck podium with 5 stories of load bearing framing and pre-cast concrete plank. The exterior wall consists of wood look metal panels, metal panels, and EIFS; all materials that also exist on the adjacent apartment building.
