Einstein Healthcare Network – Trauma Waiting Room Addition

This project is a new one-story addition to the main lobby for the trauma department at Einstein Hospital. With access located at the main hospital entrance and work breaking through to the main hospital, logistics for the project had to be carefully planned. In addition to file floors, wall protection, paint, and new ACT ceilings, the mechanical systems included a dedicated air handling unit and ductwork with grills, registers, and diffusers. New electrical distribution took power from the existing distribution panel and a new sprinkler system tied to the existing hospital infrastructure. A new EIFS exterior finish complements the existing building.
