Saint Joseph’s University Villiger Hall is located on the West Lawn at a prominent corner of City Avenue and Cardinal Avenue. The “L” shaped five/six-story building is constructed of masonry bearing walls, precast concrete plank, and stone veneer. The new building is primarily double rooms housing 400 first-year students.

The residence hall includes such amenities as central common areas on each floor, study lounges at each wing, a student fitness center, staff offices, and two guest units. New perimeter stone and iron fence walls and a gateway plaza were constructed at this site. The new building structure has been integrated with the overall campus plan including new sidewalks, paved plaza areas, landscaping, seating, and open green space. In addition, there is a significant storm water drainage system.

“The leadership of the INTECH including its Co-Founder Craig Sabatino and its Diversity and Community Director, along with the project team, worked diligently to ensure that MBE and WBE firms were engaged for all aspects of construction from project start to completion. … The challenges of implementing inclusion programs are many, however, INTECH has proven that with leadership and commitment the challenges can be overcome and success is achieved.”
