Sprouts Farmers Market has opened their first Philadelphia store in the renovated historic train shed building at the Lincoln Square development on South Broad Street. The building was once the original Philadelphia train station as part of the Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore railroad line. The interior of the space was designed to showcase the unique architectural elements of this historic building such as the exposed fink truss system, tongue and groove wood ceilings, restored brick, roof monitors, and arched windows. The store has a full-service kitchen, bakery, deli counter, meat counter, sushi bar, fish station, and indoor/outdoor seating areas. Sprouts is known for its organic, natural, healthy, and locally sourced food and product offerings.
