Size: 78,000 SF
Client: Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
Architect: Wallace, Roberts and Todd
Completion: August 2019

The latest phase of the master plan for the combined Springside Chestnut Hill Academy included the construction of a new 75,000 SF Lower School. The new building serves kindergarten through 4th grade students, and feature a servery and dining hall, gym/multi-purpose room, library/learning center, science, music and art classrooms, and other specialty teaching areas. The structural steel building is clad in a mix of stone veneer, fiber cement rainscreen panels, and glazing. Disconnection and demolition of the existing Lower School made way for a new expanded School entrance and bus drop-off area, and reconfigured parking. Improvements to the Middle School included expansion of the existing dining facility, and an updated entry lobby.

“Working with the INTECH team to complete Phase 2 of our masterplan was a pleasure. The team always had the school’s best interest at heart and was focused on completing the project on time and in the best way possible. The quality of the work is fantastic.”
