3711 Market is a new, 186,000 SF, 10-story building located on the Science Center campus on Market Street adjoining Drexel’s and Penn’s campuses in West Philadelphia.

The building, comprised of a steel frame with composite deck and a combination of curtainwall, glass, and masonry on precast panels, contains state-of-the-art, laboratory-ready facilities, office space, and retail. The building houses 150,000 SF of Class A medical office space along with wet and dry laboratories. A 219,000 SF, five-level parking garage with 514 spaces was also included in this project.

Many sustainable features prescribed by the US Green Building Council are part of the design and construction of the project. A green roof, VOC-compliant materials, and construction debris recycling, as well as water-efficient landscaping and optimization of energy performance, were incorporated as green initiatives. This project has been awarded LEED Certification.
