Elmwood Park Zoo – Welcome Center and Animal Hospital

Elmwood Park Zoo is embarking on a multi-phase renovation and expansion of its 73-acre master campus. Phase I of the zoo expansion consists of the construction and site work of a new 37,000 SF welcome center with exhibit space, a gift shop, an animal hospital, and administrative offices. The project will also include site improvements to address pedestrian circulation, vehicular access, and preparation of the existing upper parking lot for future expansion. Additional site improvements will include stormwater management facilities, utilities, landscaping, and site lighting.
