Size: 8,500 SF / 10 Acres
Client: Mann Center for the Performing Arts
Architect: MGA Partners, Architects

INTECH renovated the grounds that house the existing Mann Center for the Performing Arts, the region’s only non-profit outdoor cultural arts center. The renovation, divided into two phases, included the addition of a new public Welcome Center and Entry Plaza, incorporating lighting and ornamental entry gates that lead guests onto the renovated Campus Green. The new East Pavilion (second phase) was inspired by the existing structure, and now provides the public with additional rest rooms, a concession area, and an education/donor room that opens onto the adjoining Garden Terrace. With the client’s limited budget, INTECH developed a phased approach, interpreting documents and providing budget suggestions without compromising design.

“INTECH has worked tirelessly to help resolve cost issues caused by the runaway construction costs we have all been experiencing. During construction, they have successfully overcome numerous technical obstacles at the site. Of greatest importance, they have done all this while being faithful to our design intent.”
