Situated in South Jersey, this new facility features 10,000 SF of office space and 175,000 SF of high bay warehouse storage space with 30-foot clearances. The concrete slabs on-grade were finished to a Floor Flatness (FF) of 15 and a Floor Levelness (FL) of 13. There are 18 loading docks, each featuring manually-operated dock levelers.
The building exterior includes a combination of accented split-face CMU walls and tilt-up concrete wall panels. These panels were constructed on-site and were tilted into place. Their use proved to be both economical and schedule-efficient.
This project had been in the planning stages for several years. The approved development pro forma during that period, however, required a construction cost that was seemingly unattainable until INTECH came along. INTECH’s involvement generated cost savings without sacrificing design integrity. INTECH’s approach was successful and allowed the warehouse to be constructed for newly-signed tenants.
