INTECH completed the second phase of capital improvements in and around the grounds of the Mann Center for the Performing Arts during the off-season between the 2012 and 2013 performance schedules. Improvements included the renovation of the Terrace level seating, replacing the existing sloped asphalt with tiered concrete, and installation of new seating. The Great Lawn seating area was regraded, and expanded to meet the revised Terrace seating area for additional capacity. The existing stairways within the Terrace and Great Lawn areas were replaced, and new railings – some illuminated – were installed throughout. The Promenade and drop-off loop at the top of the hill was expanded, and the lawn area at the top of hill was extended, to provide additional performance space. New lighting and landscaping features completed the work.
