Penn Medicine University City

The Penn Medicine University City (PMUC) occupies approximately six floors of 3737 Science Center which is located on the North West corner on 38th and Market Streets in Philadelphia. The project required a fast track approach to ensure the tenant space was completed with the core and shell construction in order to meet PMUC’s anticipated occupancy date. The first level of the building provides a covered area for patient drop off with a dedicated lobby. The new facility houses a musculo/skeletal exam practice, an outpatient surgery center, medical imaging administrative offices, and a conference center. The clinic space was designed to maximize the quality of the patient experience with a focus on privacy. The idea was to create a destination medicine site with friendly waiting spaces, comfort amenities, accessible parking and accommodations for family members.
