INTECH is currently performing Pre-Construction services for several upcoming phases of renovation at Penn’s Quadrangle College Houses. Initially involved during a Feasibility Phase, INTECH then worked closely with the design team and University personnel to develop project scope, phasing, logistics, and schedule. The Feasibility Study reviewed many conditions, including exterior envelope, code and accessibility compliance, building system infrastructure, common program spaces, circulation and room layout, and interior finishes. As a multi-phase project, repairs and renovations to the facility as well as improvements to the student experience were prioritized and sequenced for phasing efficiency. Student experience improvements will include common space upgrades and relocations, accessibility improvements, improved bathroom facilities, and a reallocated residential room mix.
